Louis Curiel - CEO
Louis Curiel has been involved in the agriculture industry since childhood and for the entirety of his life in one facet or another. Beginning with driving harvest trucks and picking melons alongside the Mexican braceros at age 11 in the melon fields of Los Banos, California with his Grandfather Luis, working in lettuce coolers with his Uncle Ed during school vacations for companies like Bud of California, harvesting watermelons with his Father Louis Sr. as a youngster in the Imperial Valley, to managing over 10,000 acres of melon production and harvest for Del Monte Fresh in Arizona and California and which led to growing 1000 acres of melons & watermelons under sub-surface irrigation in Arizona, Louis has accomplished a lot. During his career Louis has developed leadership and management skills necessary in Agri Operations. Thanks to years of travelling in Mexico and Central America, Louis is skilled at International Agricultural Business Development, with emphasis in the Sourcing/Procurement of Ag products in the U.S. as well as in Latin America. The diversity of Louis’ background, skills and expertise is that of an Ag professional who can step right into a position and get to work.
